On June 12, 2009, North Shore Animal League held an adoption event in Albuquerque as part of their "Get Your Licks on Route 66" adoption tour. NSAL traveled the length of historic Route 66, stopping at many cities along the way in an effort to raise awareness of shelter adoptions, promote NSAL's mission to save lives, and continue to bring much-needed awareness to the plight of homeless pets across the country. EnchantMutts was fortunate enough to be invited to join NSAL at their adoption event in Albuquerque. Thank you NSAL for including the city of Albuquerque and EnchantMutts in this exciting tour to help homeless pets.
